La Maquée de Chauveheid

This is a fresh cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk.

After a slow 24-hour maturation, the curd is naturally drained in a cloth bag. This gives the maquée a well-drained texture reminiscent of the traditional cheese once made by our grandparents, using buttermilk.

The freshness of the milk and the quality of the farm’s organic pastures give the maquée its distinctive texture, subtle flavours and characteristic mildness.

The herb maquée is made by incorporating a fresh blend of parsley, wild garlic and onions.
